Volunteer Firefighter Pension Bill on Senate 2nd Reading Calendar
EHB 1336 (Volunteer Firefighter Pension Bill) has been pulled from Rules and placed on the Senate Second Reading Calendar. All bills voted out of committee have to pass the opposite house by Wednesday, April 12th.
The next cut off is Tuesday, April 4th to pass bills out of fiscal committees. The regular operating, capital, and transportation budgets have been introduced and are moving through the hearing process.
The Washington Fire Commissioners Association is providing the following information to its members. Email addresses provided to the WFCA are not distributed or shared with other entities. The WFCA will occasionally email information from other sources deemed pertinent to the membership.
